Build a more meaningful connection with the dog in front of you.
Pawsitive Behavior Journeys- support for BOTH ends of the leash!
As a dog trainer, I teach my clients accessible skills and tools unique to their relationship dynamic.
I offer guidance and support for dogs and their guardian’s using positive reinforcement and force-free training methods backed by behavioral science in order to build trust, foster lasting connections and create safe environments for my learners to thrive in.
I collaborate with my clients to construct training plans addressing lifestyle needs, behavior concerns and modification, socialization and developmental stages to successfully navigate our fast paced urban landscape, together.
As a fellow dog guardian to two amazing border terriers, it is my mission to minimize the harmful effects of assumptive thinking by encouraging my clients to approach behavioral concerns by first making sure that as many of their dog’s most basic needs are being met as possible.
I help guardians understand the dog in front of them by addressing their pet’s most basic needs first: health and wellness, safety, food and water, shelter, and access to appropriate outlets for social, mental, and physical stimulation..
By training with me, you will gain the tools and skills in order to better manage your dog’s challenges and learn how to redirect behavior using positive reinforcement. Most importantly, you will learn how to be curious about why your dog is behaving the way it is in their current environment, and gain a more comprehensive understanding of how they interact with the world around them.
